This yoga practice session is designed to bring energy levels up and to balance out the nervous system by up-regulating. If you're feeling a little slow or there’s some inertia in your system or you are feeling a bit frozen or numb this session may bring your energy levels up so there is more balance in your nervous system. Conversely if you're feeling like there's a lot of excess energy in your system and you have some energy you need to burn this practice might mindfully discharge that energy, bringing you more into a sense of balance.
Props: One or two blankets to sit on or to elevate your hips. optional is to have two yoga bricks, if you have them and place them at the top of your mat as they might be useful for some of the lunging forms.
Start: in standing.
